Global Model
A fixed shared aggregate ceiling. More users divide the same finite path, so the average per-user service falls.
DSM Model
Fixed per-endpoint capacity with relationship-local independence. Aggregate capacity rises as more endpoints participate.
Why Only One Slider
The point is to isolate the scaling law. Only user count changes. Everything else stays fixed so the contrast is not arbitrary.
Modeled Assumptions
Global shared ceiling = 12 transfers/step. Offered demand per user = 0.9. DSM endpoint capacity = 0.9 transfers/step.
